You can choose to support Wycliffe's work financially
in several ways:
Supporting an Individual
Wycliffe members do not receive a salary. Instead, they
depend on a team of people to support them. The financial support which
members require depends on such factors as the cost of living in their
assigned country, work related expenses and number of dependants. Members
need to have the full amount promised before they can take up their
assignment. By helping support a Wycliffe worker, you become a vital
part in spreading God's Word, and you will be kept informed about the
ongoing work of the Wycliffe member you support.
Supporting Special Projects
Wycliffe South Africa works with various Bible translation organisations around
the world. These are our partners on the field and their needs concern
us. From time to time we will help them raise funds for services such as
to printing literacy materials, or to purchase equipment like a computer
for a translator or a photocopier to publicise their work.

Leaving
a Legacy |
| For
the peace of mind of your loved ones, the Government recommends
that you make a will. If you don't, the law must follow its
own dictates and will be forced to distribute your assets in
ways you may not have wished. If spreading God's Word has been
one of your life goals, you may want to remember Wycliffe in
your will, ensuring that your commitment to Bible translation
and literacy will continue after you die. |
Supporting the Wycliffe Office
The Wycliffe South Africa office gives practical support to South African missionaries
around the world, making sure they are taken care of in every way. They
also keep you and the Church informed about individual missionaries and the
Bible translation task around the world so that more people and churches can
pray and support the work intelligently. Because none of the office staff is
paid a salary, every cent donated will be used to help them encourage the missionaries
and mobilise the Church to give God's Word to all the peoples of the world.
Providing Supplemental Support
Because financial support does not always come in as expected, Wycliffe members
are sometimes left with a shortfall. Money from Wycliffe's Supplemental
Support Fund will be distributed as needed to members with a significant
deficit, allowing them to continue their work until others join their support
team.
